The alleged Nokia 9 has just surfaced yet again, as you can see in the provided image above, though its design is different than earlier leaks suggested. Nokia had introduced the Nokia 8 back in August, and the device is already available for purchase in some markets. Well, the Nokia 9 is rumored to be yet another high-end smartphone that this company is about to launch, and unlike the Nokia 8, the Nokia 9 will, allegedly, ship with a curved display, as the leaked images indicate.
Now, this image popped up on Baidu quite recently, and it’s possible that this image is not legit, of course, it could just be a concept render or something of the sort. In any case, this smartphone sports a curved display on the sides, and its back side is also curved, the phone’s front side actually seems to be proportional to its back side. The bezels on the sides of this phone are extremely thin, while its top and bottom bezels are not that thick either. Nokia’s branding is present below the phone’s display, and also on the back of this handset. There are two cameras on the back of the Nokia 9, and they’re vertically aligned, while an LED flash is placed next to them. A fingerprint scanner can be found on the back of this smartphone as well, while all of its physical buttons can be found on the right. This smartphone seems to be made out of metal and glass, at least it looks like that from the provided image.
It is still unknown as to when this phone will launch, or will it launch at all, but rumors are claiming it will arrive before the end of this year. The Nokia 9 will, allegedly, feature an OLED display, while it will be fueled by the Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core processor. The device will sport at least 6GB of RAM, though rumors are claiming that an 8GB RAM variant will also be available. The Nokia 8 will ship with a dual camera setup with Zeiss’ optics, while the phone will also be water and dust resistant (IP68 certification). The phone is rumored to cost €749 in Europe, while it will allegedly cost $879 in the US.
