Google makes Android Nougat 7.1.2 changelog official


Google has started rolling-out Android Nougat 7.1.2 to its Nexus and Pixel devices range. It has also made the Android 7.1.2 changelog official. A google employee posted changelog for Android Nougat 7.1.2 in its Forum.

Android 7.1.2 brings enhanced notification stability, Battery Usage alerts, fingerprint swipe performance improvements and more. It also packs a number of bug fixes, added features, and general performance/stability improvements.

Android 7.1.2 Changelog:

  • Brings Enhanced notification stability
  • Brings Fingerprint swipe on 5X/6P
  • Lots of general connectivity improvements
  • Battery usage alerts in new features
  • Improved fingerprint swipe performance for all devices
  • Also brings Bluetooth connectivity improvements
Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 Global variants will come running Pure Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box. It has been clearly mentioned in the official announcements. HMD has also promised in an official statement to us that these three and other upcoming Nokia Android Phones will get timely OS updates. So, we can expect Android 7.1.2 hitting these smartphones soon after release to markets.
