Looks like 2018 will be the year of notches for smartphones. Many manufactures are going by the 18:9 ratio display and very small bezels, trying to design a completely bezel-less phone. If the phones are bezel-less where would they place the front camera , sensors and the fingerprint reader. Well , the answer was to place the front camera and the sensors in a "Notch" , and the fingerprint sensor under the display. But not many of us like the notch, do we? Many android phones launched this year came with a notch , following the iPhone X.
Here's the shocking news , Nokia is also testing a phone with the notch too. According to the rumours coming from China , HMD Global has already begun the trail production of this bezel-less flagship , probably the one with the "penta-lens" setup , with a notch and a under-the-screen fingerprint reader. In addition to these the NOKIA logo has been shifted from the front side of the phone to the right side ( may be below the power button ) . This comes from a source which has been accurate in the past. There are a few more prototype units in the testing too, including a design without a notch. So the one with the notch might not end up as the final design.
Even Google has added native support for displays with a notch in the Android P developer preview. So we will be seeing many android phones with a notch this year. Let's hope Nokia is not one of them, unless their notch is not a distraction to the users.

Trust Concept creator, the YouTube channel well-known for creating realistic concepts of upcoming smartphones to come up with a Nokia 10 concept that looks interesting. This Nokia 10 concept is based on the recent leaks and features the Penta-lens Camera module too.
The probable camera module design was shared by one of the most trusted Nokia leaksters from China. The concept imagines a 3.5 mm headphone jack, fingerprint sensor on the back and a Dual-lens front camera.
The source of the original rumor/leak had claimed that Nokia 10 will feature a 18:9 display and will come with double-glass (both front and back) design comparable to Nokia 9. Nokia 10 will be powered by the Snapdragon 845 processor.
Nokia was once known for making some of the best camera-phones ever since we shifted to colour screens. Be it the N-series phones or the Lumia 1020, we have admired what Nokia did to the cameras on phones. A recent leak on Baidu, a Chinese social network, points towards Nokia’s next attempt to regain its legacy in the field of mobile optics.
According to the leak, Nokia is working on a penta-lens concept phone that has five lenses positioned in circular pattern with LED flash. The smartphone is said to be called the Nokia 10, and will be aimed at shutterbugs.
The concept definitely looks like Nokia’s attempt to revolutionise smartphone cameras once again. It would be interesting to see how the company plans to employ such hefty camera setup and how it is going to implement it by keeping the design handy.
According to Baidu, the Penta-lens camera rumor may hint at a revolver-like rotating Zoom camera tech from Zeiss.
Other rumoured specifications for the Nokia 10 point towards a Snapdragon 845, a glass back and 18:9 display. Baidu also reports that the phone is currently under development stage and may not be available before second half of 2018.
