Nokia Mobile Weibo account reveals Nokia X/X6 image, More coming on May 16th

Leaking of real-life hands-on images of Nokia X/Nokia X6 in China, Nokia Mobile Weibo account has joined the fun. It has confirmed the existence of the smartphone by posting an image. But then slight bad news is that you will have to wait until May 16 for further details as per the tweet posted by the official Weibo account.
Nokia X6 leaked Specs and pricing:
As per the rumor it will feature a 5.8-inch 19:9 ratio display and will also sport a notch. The rumor further claims that It will have two variants.
The costlier variant priced at Yuan 1799 will be powered by Snapdragon 636 and will come with 6GB RAM while the cheaper one priced at Yuan 1599 will be powered by MediaTek P60 and will have 4GB RAM.

[LEAKS] Images of Nokia X Leaks ahead of its launch

As we near the launch of Nokia X in China, real-life image of Nokia X has leaked. It sports a notch, dual cameras but no ZEISS branding though, and probably a glass back. It has a 19:9 display.The notch houses the front camera, earpiece and the sensors. Here are the images:
The launch date is expected to be May 16th, as per the below image. But it is already listed on JD.com, with a delivery date of May 30. This seems legit.
Currently not much is known clearly about this device. Here are the rumored specs:
- Snapdragon 636 with 6GB of RAM
- MediaTek P60 with 4GB of RAM
- 5.8-inch 19:9 bezel-less display with a notch
- Price : 1599 to 1799 Yuan
This is the model (TA-1099) which passed Chinese CCC certification, a few days back. We will update you after the official launch of this device. Stay tuned!

Looks like 2018 will be the year of notches for smartphones. Many manufactures are going by the 18:9 ratio display and very small bezels, trying to design a completely bezel-less phone. If the phones are bezel-less where would they place the front camera , sensors and the fingerprint reader. Well , the answer was to place the front camera and the sensors in a "Notch" , and the fingerprint sensor under the display. But not many of us like the notch, do we? Many android phones launched this year came with a notch , following the iPhone X.
Here's the shocking news , Nokia is also testing a phone with the notch too. According to the rumours coming from China , HMD Global has already begun the trail production of this bezel-less flagship , probably the one with the "penta-lens" setup , with a notch and a under-the-screen fingerprint reader. In addition to these the NOKIA logo has been shifted from the front side of the phone to the right side ( may be below the power button ) . This comes from a source which has been accurate in the past. There are a few more prototype units in the testing too, including a design without a notch. So the one with the notch might not end up as the final design.
Even Google has added native support for displays with a notch in the Android P developer preview. So we will be seeing many android phones with a notch this year. Let's hope Nokia is not one of them, unless their notch is not a distraction to the users.
