TA-1005 had passed Russian certification back in May 2017. Now, when HMD has decided to finally launch it as Nokia 8 Sirocco , we told you that it was earlier supposed to come as Nokia 9.
Now confirming this the old TA-1005 Russian certification entry has been canceled by HMD on January 29 and a new entry of TA-1005 has been posted after re-certification.

In last few days lots of Nokia 8 Sirocco leaks have appeared confirming and revealing most of the specs. HMD may be planning to launch Nokia 9 2018 as Nokia 9 only and it may be the first Nokia flagship with Snapdragon 845 processor in 2018.

Nokia 8 has now started to receive November Security update in some of the European markets including Netherlands. As per the tips sent to us by our readers, Nokia 8 variants, TA-1012 and TA-1052 have received Android November security update so far. The update is not yet available in India for Nokia 8.
Nokia 8 (TA-1004) variant in Asian markets, Nokia 8 in Iraq and Russia are also receiving November security update now.
You will either be prompted to download this update or you can check by going to Settings and searching system updates and then by checking for the update.

The changelog for the update only mentions the November Security patch that brings the fix for KRACK vulnerabilities along with other fixes.
HMD has been quite consistent in terms of releasing Monthly Security updates and OS updates for Nokia smartphones already available in the market. HMD has also made it clear that all Nokia Android Phones will receive minimum two years of OS update support.

The possibility of Nokia 6 soon going global. Now, we have caught a new variant of the device passing Bluetooth certification. In fact, both TA-1000 and TA-1003 can be seen in the Bluetooth certification.
TA-1003 may be the global variant of Nokia 6, that can be revealed in coming days or at MWC 2017.
